The SafeCert Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work is a one-day course designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills to handle a range of workplace emergencies. Participants will learn the role and responsibilities of a first aider, ensuring they are prepared to act swiftly and effectively in emergency situations. The course covers essential skills, including assessing an emergency situation safely, providing first aid to an unresponsive casualty, and assisting a casualty who is choking. Trainees will also learn how to manage external bleeding, administer first aid to those suffering from shock, and provide care for minor injuries. By the end of the course, participants will have the confidence and knowledge to respond to common workplace incidents, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of those around them until professional help arrives.
